Affordable Drains Service Terms and Conditions

Read and review the following terms and conditions for receiving services from Affordable Drains.

Affordable Drains, LLC has established the following Terms and Conditions to govern its services. By requesting and accepting service from Affordable Drains, customers agree to these terms.

Payment is due in full upon completion of services unless prior written arrangements have been made. Affordable Drains accepts cash, credit/debit cards, and checks, with additional payment methods available upon request. If a customer is not present at the time of service, payment arrangements must be made in advance. Any declined payments must be resolved within 24 hours to avoid late fees. Unpaid balances beyond seven days from the due date will incur a late fee of 5% per month on the outstanding balance. If an invoice remains unpaid for 30 days or more, Affordable Drains reserves the right to send the balance to a collection agency and pursue legal action, with all associated fees, including collection, attorney, and court costs, added to the outstanding balance and billed to the customer. Returned checks will incur a $35 fee, and chargebacks initiated without prior communication will result in the customer being responsible for all associated fees, including the full invoice amount, bank processing fees, and legal fees. Customers must contact Affordable Drains to resolve billing concerns before initiating a chargeback.

Estimates provided by Affordable Drains are non-binding and may change based on the actual condition of the plumbing system upon inspection. If additional work is required beyond the initial estimate, the customer will be notified for approval before proceeding. Emergency, after-hours, or weekend services will incur additional surcharges. If a technician is dispatched but unable to perform work due to circumstances beyond Affordable Drains’ control, such as lack of access or customer unavailability, a trip charge will apply. Affordable Drains does not provide refunds for services rendered. Any workmanship warranty, if applicable, will be discussed at the time of service. Warranties do not cover pre-existing plumbing conditions, blockages caused by misuse, or damages from foreign objects introduced into the system. If a blockage recurs due to circumstances beyond Affordable Drains’ control, such as grease buildup, foreign objects, or root intrusion, the customer will be responsible for additional service charges.

Cancellations made after a technician has been dispatched will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the service call fee. No-show appointments, where the technician is unable to complete the service due to lack of access or customer unavailability, will result in a full-service charge or trip fee at Affordable Drains’ discretion. Affordable Drains takes every precaution to perform services professionally and efficiently, but the customer acknowledges that Affordable Drains is not responsible for any issues arising from pre-existing plumbing conditions. These conditions include, but are not limited to, deteriorated, corroded, or damaged pipes, improperly installed plumbing, blockages, root intrusions, hidden defects, or other structural failures. If such conditions are discovered during service, Affordable Drains will notify the customer as a courtesy but is not liable for damages, repairs, or additional costs resulting from these conditions.

Standard drain cleaning equipment, including augers, hydro-jetting systems, and cameras, is used in a manufacturer-recommended manner. Affordable Drains is not responsible for damage caused by these tools when the underlying cause is weak, brittle, or compromised pipes, misaligned or improperly sized pipes, or sewer line collapses. If a cable line, camera, or tool gets stuck due to pre-existing pipe conditions, the customer may be responsible for reimbursing Affordable Drains for the lost equipment or covering retrieval costs. The customer agrees to release Affordable Drains from liability for any damages or repairs resulting from pre-existing defects. This release extends to all services performed by Affordable Drains, including drain cleaning, hydro-jetting, and sewer inspections, and applies to all service locations, including rental properties, commercial sites, and residential properties. Customers agree to hold Affordable Drains harmless for any resulting damage, repairs, or additional service needs.

The customer also agrees to indemnify and hold Affordable Drains, its employees, subcontractors, and representatives harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the customer’s failure to disclose known plumbing issues, damages due to improper maintenance, or third-party claims related to work performed at the customer’s property. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, with disputes resolved in Spokane County. If any portion of these terms is deemed unenforceable, the remaining terms will remain valid. By requesting and accepting service from Affordable Drains, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
